02 How do the production protocols differ between species?

During the research process in our laboratory, we found different cell-maturing times of the dendritic cells, conditioned by differing cell maturing of the treated species. This indicates different time intervals for the treatment protocols of the different species. The different time horizons for the development of the cells lead to differing days for the pick up of the blood and tumor tissue and the time of delivery of the produced vaccine.

Dog and Horse
For dogs and horses, the maturing of dendritic cells needs seven days in the laboratory. By the way – this is the same time period as in human patients.

Cat
As every cat owner knows: cats are special! We found a faster development and maturing of the feline dendritic cells. The maturing is already finished after six days.
