04 Which material is necessary for the production of the dendritic cell therapy?
Necessary Specimen and material of Patient: Dog and Cat
- 1ml full blood per kg body weight, (in a mixing ratio of 1:10 with sodium citrate solution 3.13%, but at least 5 ml full blood and 0.5 ml sodium citrate)
- 1 ml of serum
- Tumor tissue, preserved in sterile saline (please store deep frozen until packaging and transportation) with a size of 0.5x0.5x0.5 cm. The tumor tissue will be used for following treatments. Please note that tissue preserved in formaline can’t be used for the production of the dendritic cell therapy!
- Patho-Histological report if available
Necessary Specimen and material of Patient: Horse
- 450 ml full blood in a Baxter blood collection bag (in Germany order no. 93770 at www.wdt.de), it is important to fill the whole bag with blood to get the right mix ration with with the anticoagulant).
- 2 ml of serum
- Tumor tissue, preserved in sterile saline (please store deep frozen until packaging and transportation) with a size of 0.5x0.5x0.5 cm. The tumor tissue will be used for following treatments. Please note that tissue preserved in formaline can’t be used for the production of the dendritic cell therapy!
